Okay, since the release of this song  and saw the lyrics for the first time on Vevo, I promised myself if I have a blog (no matter how old this song is) this song will be posted. The words to this song is so empowering to girls and women. In a world where we are force-molded by different types of pressures, including our own insecurities (yes, we are our biggest bullies sometimes) it's important to understand, accept ourselves and celebrate being a girl. It's part of our DNA to care too much (or care what others think) and to love too much, so it's time to stop beating each other down and think that these traits make us weak. Instead let's celebrate these traits and empower each other. Yes, you're going to care about your looks, Yes, you're going to love and maybe fall in love way too much. And that is okay.
