Our Birthday Toast!

Mat, Masque & Relaxation

This party is all about being pampered and being girly. For your own DIY spa here are some ideas and tips:
1. Host a spa party with friends and kids. Mommy and me spa are a perfect gathering to kick off the summer vacation. If you have a pool you can host it outdoors and  make it into a pool or tropical party.
2. Serve fresh fruits, infused water and hors d'oeuvres or anything super easy
3. Buy spa favors (sponges, nail files, shower gels, nail polish, etc.) from the dollar section or stores like (target, Michaels, 99cents, dollar tree)
4. If you are celebrating a birthday party for your child you can ask a couple of friends to do nails and have the kids bring their own robes/slippers.
5. As you can see I don't use a lot of printables. You can get the look for a lot less if you just embellish things. (paper you may already have or your favorite paper from the craft store). You can also use a gift wrap.
6. Another alternative to printing is to monogram items e.g. favors and bottled waters.
7. If you are into organic stuff, search online for some great spa recipes for facials (a DIY strawberry face masque sounds so yummy)
